I wanted a nice way to join the squares for my Daisy Afghan and found this tutorial. Check out the Daisy Afghan to see the finished product. I like it a lot better than stitching the squares together. It almost looks like one giant square. just click the link below and watch the video.

Daisy Afghan that I made for my niece.
http://daisycottagedesigns.net/crochet/daisy-granny-square-crochet-pattern/
Here is the Daisy Afghan that I made for my new grandniece, who just happens to be named Morgan Daisy! The clusters for the daisy was a little confusing at first, but just follow the pattern and don't think about it too much, it will become like second nature. I crocheted 36 squares and along with the way I joined the squares it turned out to be the perfect sized baby afghan.

Seed stitch slipper
Seed (popcorn) Stitch Slippers
This is my favorite slipper pattern. I use Bernat Blanket yarn because it is soft and warm and lasts a long time. You can use regular yarn, you will have to adjust the pattern to make it bigger because of the size difference of the yarns.
Seed (popcorn) stitch slippers
1 Ball Bernat Blanket Yarn
K Hook
Special note on sizing: this pattern is for a size 6.5 foot. Increase at row 9 for a wider slipper and repeat r13 & 14 to desired length.
Chain 4, slip stitch in 4th chain from hook to form a ring. Ch. 1 and turn.
R1: 10 sc's in ring. slip stitch in beginning chain to join, ch 1 and turn. (10)
R2: 1 sc and 1 Tr in each sc. Repeat to end, ss to join. Ch 1, turn. (20)

R13: 1 sc in ea. Do NOT join. Ch 1, turn
R14: 1 sc in first sc, 1 tr in next sc. Do Not join. Ch 1, turn
Repeat rows 13 and 14 till desired length.
Fold right sides together and ss through stitches of last row. Fasten off and weave in end.
Increase at R9 by 2 sc's for a wider slipper.
CUFF:
Join yarn at back of slipper and sc around. Be careful, you will have sc's on one side and
tr's on other side. Sc at base of tr's, not in the tr. Join, ch 1, turn.
1 sc in first, 1 tr in next. Repeat. Join, ch 1, turn.
Fasten off and weave in end.
I repeat twice, but you can make your cuff taller.
Crocheted dishcloth
Crocheted Dishcloth
This pattern is for, what I think are the best dishcloth's. They are a quick work up and are great for last minute gifts. So easy that a beginner can crochet this.
Supplies:
H Hook
Sugar and Cream cotton yarn
ch 26, sc in second chain from hook, dc in next. You should end the row on a sc. Repeat to end. ch 1, turn
Row 2-20: sc in first and dc in next and repeat to end of row.
Finish off and weave in ends.
Border:
Attach yarn in a corner and sc all the way around. When you get to a corner sc, ch 3, sc all in the same stitch. This will give you a nice corner. Finish off, weave in end . DONE!
